The intent of this training workshop is to nurture and give an opportunity to all those who want to become singers. It is intended for those aspiring singers who would like to learn light music techniques from professional playback singers. All participants of the work shop will get a chance to perform in the regional live competition followed by the training over the weekend. Training work shop duration is 1 or 2 weeks based on availability of resources. First week of training work shop will be organized by local music teachers identified by Spandana Foundation. Second week of training work shop will be organized by eminent playback singer from India with the help of identified local music teachers. Training work shop is limited to few languages that also for light music based on local music teachers and playback singer. At this point of time, it’s open to only Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada languages due to lack of resources. Spandana will try to make other languages also available in future. Training program is not available for classical music. Training work shop has limited seats (or capacity). We will confirm the students based on first come first serve basis. Please register yourself using your city specific ‘Participate’ link in our website by paying $100 donation. Choose ‘Training’ in mode of participation. Second kid from a household will get 25% off on registration fee i.e. $175 for two kids from a family/household. Registration fee $50 for audition is included in the training registration fee. |
